Job Details
LY corporation develops and operates a variety of applications based on the company's Private Cloud infrastructure environment, and we are responsible for the Quality Assurance of the Private Cloud.
We are looking for someone who want to collaborate with cloud development engineers and gain QA experience in understanding and operating large-scale clusters.

This is an interview with a member who works as a QA engineer. The interviews give a sense of the people actually working, the nature of their work, and the atmosphere of the team.
Responsibilities
- The Quality Assurance of OpenStack-based cloud product services
- The availability quality improvement of cloud services through reliability testing
- Testing of planning/development deliverables and project risk management
- Test automation for continuous testing
- Quality analysis and error reporting through test results in the development/operation phase
Ideal Candidate
- Someone who can communicate smoothly with stakeholders and team members, and collaborate effectively.
- Someone who can attempt to solve complex technical challenges with various approaches.
- Someone who is interested in the product's users and can actively contribute opinions to the product's direction.
Required Experience/Skills
- 2+ years of experience in software testing in the cloud domain.
- Those with experience in E2E test automation development.
- Those who can proactively solve problems based on smooth communication.
- Those who understand software development/test process methodologies and can analyze, design, and execute tests.
- Those who can program in Python Those who have no disqualifications for overseas business trips or work.
- Business level English proficiency
Preferred Experience/Skills
- Experience using public clouds such as AWS/Google Cloud Platform
- Experience in QA for DBaaS, PaaS and observability Services.
- Experience with Chaos engineering for Reliability Quality
- ISTQB AL certification
- Business level Japanese proficiency
Salary
Expected annual salary: JPY 7,000,000 to JPY 12,000,000
Form of salary: Monthly salary (including fixed overtime allowance)
Standard monthly salary: JPY 467,000 to JPY 801,000
(Breakdown of standard salary)
―Base salary: JPY 361,000 to JPY 622,000
―Fixed overtime allowance: JPY 105,000 to JPY 179,000
Fixed overtime allowance of 35 hours will be provided, regardless of whether overtime work is performed.
Note 1: Overtime allowance is paid separately for overtime work in excess of the fixed 35 hours.
Note 2: Names of items related to monthly salary vary depending on the grades.
Bonuses are granted a maximum of two times a year. The amount is determined by factors including the company's and your department's performance.

Document Screening
You will be notified of the results of the selection process within two weeks at the e-mail address you entered in the application form, regardless of whether your application is accepted or not. Interview, aptitude test, technical test, compliance check/reference check
Applicants who pass the document screening will be required to undergo multiple interviews, aptitude/technical tests, compliance checks, and reference checks, although the details vary depending on the position.
You will be notified of the results of the selection process within two weeks at the e-mail address you entered in the application form, regardless of whether your application is accepted or not.
The schedule will vary depending on interviews and other factors, but if everything goes smoothly, an internal offer will be made within about four to six weeks after the application is submitted. Allowances

*1 You will be paid for the number of days you actually came to the office. (Maximum of JPY150,000/month)
*2 Allowance to improve your remote work environment (JPY11,000/month)
Work Location
Kioicho Office (Kioi Tower, 1-3 Kioicho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo)
The offices are wheelchair accessible.
Note on measures against passive smoking: In principle, no smoking indoors (smoking rooms are available).
Subject to change to an office as determined by the company.
Work Hours
Flextime system: standard work hours 7 hours 45 minutes (no core hours)
Start and end times are up to the individual. However, the company's standard working hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Note: Some departments may operate on the standard work hours (9:30 a.m. - 6:15 p.m.), while others may have a shift schedule.
