Job Details
You will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of new services leveraging generative AI technology. The specific tasks will be determined based on your preferences and experience during the selection process.
- Development of Various New Systems Using Large Language Models (LLM)
- Investigate the feasibility of developing new systems using LLMs and create prototypes.
- Efficiency Improvement of Internal Systems Using LLM
- Utilize LLMs in the internal systems of services provided by LY Corporation to build systems that enhance operational efficiency.
- Design, Training, and Optimization of Generative AI Models
- Propose and develop AI solutions based on client needs
- Data Collection, Preprocessing, and Analysis
- Conduct testing and evaluation of developed AI systems
Responsibilities
- API development using Kotlin + Spring, MVC/Spring and WebFlux/gRPC
- API development using Python + Langchain and gRPC/WebSocket
- Code review of team members' code
- Writing unit tests using JUnit5
- Building CI pipelines using Jenkinsfile
- Writing technical design documents
- Developing internal management screens to facilitate smooth operations
Required Experience/Skills
- Basic knowledge of programming and software development learned at university
- Basic understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Basic understanding of generative AI
Preferred Experience/Skills
- Development experience in university projects or extracurricular activities
- Experience in team projects or leadership experience
- Experience participating in projects utilizing generative AI
Duration of the Internship

*The duration is negotiable.
*In principle, 4 days a week, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
*The standard working hours are from 10:00 to 18:45, including a 1-hour break.
*Details will be discussed and determined upon join.
Internship Format & Location
Hybrid
*This internship will follow a hybrid working style, primarily remote with some in-office work.
*Details will be discussed with the host organization (position) upon join.
*The office location for in-office attendance for this position is the Kioicho Office.
Compensation
- Hourly wage of 2,600 yen
- Provision of a PC
- Reimbursement for transportation and accommodation costs when commuting to the office (with a cap)*

- Currently enrolled students without any full-time employment experience (excluding high school students)
- Individuals who already possess a work visa for Japan
- Those with a network environment at home suitable for work
- Individuals residing in Japan during the internship period
