LY Corporation received guidance from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) on March 5, 2024 and on April 16, 2024, and a request for reports, etc. and recommendation from the Personal Information Protection Commission (PPC) on March 28, 2024 in regard to the incident of an information leakage due to unauthorized access.
Once again, we sincerely apologize to our users and stakeholders for any concern or inconvenience this may have caused.
We took this incident seriously and have established recurrence prevention measures in response to the guidance provided by MIC, as well as a request for reports, etc. and recommendation from PPC. We have implemented these measures in phases and completed submission of implementation reports on the recurrence prevention measures to MIC and PPC by July 2026.
