External Certifications and Third-Party Assessments for Security
The LY Corporation Group (the "Group") has established initiatives to protect user information in its internal regulations and rigidly implements them. To objectively ensure that these practices are appropriate, the Group continuously acquires internationally recognized external security certifications and complies with third-party assessment standards.
ISMS Certification
LY Corporation and some of its subsidiaries continue to implement the initiatives on information security management based on the ISMS international standard ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and JIS Q 27001:2023.
JIS Q 27001 (ISO/IEC 27001) is an international standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) that enables organizations to identify the information assets they must protect and to maintain and improve the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of each information asset in a balanced manner.

LY Corporation complies with the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards), an international data security standard, to securely protect users' credit card and transaction data in its online payment services.
All systems related to information management and transaction processing for the applicable services—Yahoo! JAPAN Wallet, Yahoo! JAPAN Shopping, and Yahoo! JAPAN Auction—maintain this internationally recognized security standard. Compliance with this standard has been continuously maintained and updated since the former Yahoo Japan Corporation first became compliant in 2008.
