LINE GAME Closures and Refunds

Announcement

 LY Corporation ("LYC") has closed some of its game titles under its LINE GAME division as of 3pm, December 2, 2024 (GMT+9).

 In accordance with the Payment Services Act, Article 20, Paragraph 1, customers will be entitled to claim refunds for prepaid payment instruments remaining in their account (hereinafter referred to as balance of prepaid payment instruments) at the time the game closed.

 We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our players to date. LINE GAME will continue to work to bring enjoyable games to everyone. Thank you for your understanding.

Information on the prepaid payment instrument to be refunded can be found below.

Refund application process

  1. Access the Refund Application Form (located at https://refund.game.line.me) and log in using the mail address and password associated with your LINE account.
    - Please access the form using a computer browser, as accessing it from a mobile device may cause it to not function properly.
  2. Select the game for which you wish to request a refund and confirm that the amount shown is correct.
  3. Enter your bank account information for the bank transfer, then submit the form. Note: If your outstanding balance was zero, then you will not be prompted to enter any bank account information.

- To players who played using a method other than LINE Login
The instructions in the above Refund Application Form are only for players using LINE Login.
For players who played using a method other than LINE Login, please first contact us via the inquiry form below and let us know that you wish to be refunded for the game title in question in your message. We will then provide you with an email address to send the information in the above points 2 and 3.
Please include your unique user identifier (ID) when requesting a refund via the inquiry form. (You need to make a note of your ID while game service is still available.)

If you are not sure what your unique user identifier (ID) is, please provide us with the following information when requesting a refund.

The player's in-game name, level, rank, and receipt information at the time of the refund request
Receipt information: Date of purchase, payment number, amount, and item name
 - We may contact you again with additional questions if more information is necessary to identify your account.

Refund application period

From 3pm, Dec. 6, 2024 to 3pm, Mar. 6, 2025 (GMT+9)
- Any application forms received before or after this period will NOT be considered.

Refund process

 Once your refund application has been processed, an amount equivalent to your outstanding balance will be transferred to your bank account in Japanese Yen.
- Money transfer fees, whether for national or international transactions, will be paid by us.
 However, when transferring funds to overseas accounts, some additional fees may be levied, such as intermediary fees or currency exchange fees.

Notes

Refunds will be processed no earlier than Mar. 31, 2025 (GMT+9).
If you wish to make any changes to the information you provided on your Refund Application Form, simply fill out the form and submit again. Only the last form you submit will be processed for refunds.
